The revitalised state-of-the-art TK-Space includes both private VIP en suite bedrooms and an 80 bed hostel, air conditioned and with wifi throughout. There are restaurants, a lounge bar, seminar rooms, facilities for a stage, an open kitchen, library and a cycle store. Being situated in the outskirts of Kaiping and surrounded by beautiful countryside and cycle paths, it is the perfect place for school trips and extra-curricular activities but with enough privacy that you can be quiet if you wish.
A wide variety of activities are available in and around the Tangkou Community Project, including outdoor activities, educational opportunities, family-friendly locations and classes and workshops for people of all ages. Programs can be tailor-made or you can chill out or enjoy your own programs.
Kaiping is famous for its Chinese opera. With some notice we can arrange Chinese opera or Chinese music performances for you. Around Chinese New Year roasting chicken in earthen ovens is a traditional and fun thing to do. We hold occasional fairs beside the adjacent granaries and can arrange parties on request.
